Abstract
This chapter highlights the relevance of agrarian reform, agroecology and food sovereignty to climate justice. It explores the connections between capitalism and the climate crisis and the global food system. It analyses inequalities in the food system and through the social reproduction of the 'family' and nation-state during Covid-19 in Britain. This chapter also discusses the importance of land and the absence of agrarian reform in Britain and how this is related to the monarchy and systems of kinship, inheritance and taxation in the UK. The chapter also highlights the ongoing struggles for justice and equality in Peru and the relevance of land and agrarian reform.
