Abstract

This is a review / article that examines the place of Fast x (2023) within the Fast & Furious franchise. It considers the way in which Fast X reflects - and at times directly addresses - The Fast Saga's messy history, including its unlikely evolution from a series of mid-budget crime pictures about street racing to become one of the highest-grossing cinematic properties of the 21st Century.
