Abstract

Urban mobility is a major issue in the sustainable transport framework of the future. A need for clean and non-conventionally fueled vehicles that can be charged with renewable energy plants is groundbreaking. We propose a revolutionary concept underpinning the MOB-Y Green architecture, which lies on the fact that the integration of Electrical Vehicles and renewable energies has never been faced in a formalized and systematic approach. MOB-Y framework aims at (i) boosting European research for the identification of policy-based measures, policies and tools for the deployment of non-conventionally fueled vehicles (ii) foster the standardization, promotion and mass deployment of retrofit procedures for the transition from gasoline to electric vehicles (iii) significantly reduce the level of CO2 toxic gas emissions by raising awareness on the economic and societal advantages of driving non conventionally fueled vehicles.
